Howard W.'s Story
Life
I do not think I have ever listed my profile before now. So here we go.
When I left High School I went to Mt SAC until go into the Army in November of 1964, I was with the 2nd of 8th Infantry of the 4th Divison. I saw a number of people I know from Pomona at different times. I returned November of 1969. I was truly lost for sometime after returning back from Nam. I did not know what I wanted to do. I went to work at the Colony Kitchen Restaurant in Corona. This where I met my Wife Donna. I went back to school and got my degree over the next 10 years.
Donna and I got married Oct. 4, 1969. I had saved enough money to buy a Partner- Manager contract with Colony Kitchen in Oxnard. We moved and lived there for the next 25 years. We had both our children living in Oxnard.
I changed my career on June 4, 1984. I went into the insurance business with Woodmen. In 1990 I was asked to be the State Manager Arizona for Woodmen. I was asked to deve...Expand for more
lope the state. I completed the task and was asked to move to New Mexico and do the samething. We moved to N.M. in 1990. We lived there for 10years.
I was asked in move to Arkansas and help re-develope this state. Our kids stayed in Albuquerque because we had played to move back after 3 years here. While things do changed. I became disabilied.
So this is where most likely we will stay. However, we love it here. We plan to travel as much as we can. Play every Golf course I can find. Enjoy Life to the Max. If things change we would move back to Arizona.
There was a 3 year period after selling the Colony Kitchen that I opened a Pizza Resturant called Rosie's.
It over real well, but my partner and I could not agree on much of anything. I sold our spare and moved on.
I would love to hear from all of you. My address is 707 Chaucer Cove, Jacksonville, Arkansas 72076. Our phone number is 501-985-3111 or 501-352-9728
Sincerely,
Howard W. Harts
